Expressing the unbridled joy that everyone is experiencing on the occasion of the safe return of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said may God protect him to the country, People of Saham State organized a maritime festival yesterday morning. It was held near the state fortress in the old market area under the slogan "Our maritime heritage is our glory and sovereignty", under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Mahfouz Mundhiri, the head of the State Council, in the presence of a number of honorable Ministers and honored members of the State Council, members of the Shura Council and members of the municipal council and residents in the state. As said by the engineer Mohammed bin Khamis al-Badi in the organizing committee speech, “It is already the third edition of the festival and the organizing committee ensured that this year the festival will show the unbridled joy of everyone with the safe return of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may God protect him, after a treatment trip abroad”. The festival paintings and events confirm the joy experienced by everyone.
