Kawas Engineering is relatively new in the market, and it is considered as the mechanical engine of Al-Badi Investment Group that has been seriously committed to the participatation and contribution in big projects that are implemented by the group subsidiaries in addition to directly entering tenders and engineering projects.

The company was founded in July 2009, and received its business license from the responsible authorities in Oman:

• Ministry of Defence
• Royal Oman Police (ROP)
• Tender Board

Subsequently, it started operating in the following activities:

• Installation of elevators and escalators
• Installation of air conditioning units and freezing systems
• Maintenance of elevators, escalators and air conditioning units and freezing systems

Kawas Engineering developed their activities and expanded their business projects, importing a number of well-known gloabal brands for elevators, escalators, air conditioning units and freezing systems, such as:

• Fuji Elevators 
• Sakura air conditioning units and freezing systems (Japan) 
• Other equipment and devices
• The company also signed exclusive distribution contracts with a number of other relevant agencies.

The company has already accomplished a number of projects related to their activities, including:

• Installation of elevators for Salalah Mall
• Installation of elevators for some of the Ministry of Defense institutions
• Installation of elevators for some ROP institutions
